The accreditation and certification of Equigerminal Laboratory is a recognition of our technical and scientific competence in performing diagnostic laboratory tests, as well as in our associated research, development, and innovation activities.
The Quality Control Management System & RDI (QCMS) implemented in our laboratory encompasses our organization, documented procedures, records, and physical resources.
All tests conducted at Equigerminal Laboratory are based on rigorous scientific support, utilizing internationally recognized publications, recommendations from reference entities, and established testing regulations.

QUALITY AND RDI POLICY
The Quality and Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) Policy of Laboratório Equigerminal is based on principles of continuous improvement, confidence in analytical results, and the valorization of innovation, with the objective of delivering excellent services aligned with the needs of clients, science, and society.
The Laboratory is fully committed to the implementation, management, and consolidation of an RDI culture developed in a systematic and sustainable manner, ensuring the generation of added value for the company, its clients, employees, and all stakeholders.
To ensure the effective implementation of this policy, the necessary resources for the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality and RDI Management System (SGQ_IDI) are permanently allocated, including human, technical, financial, and infrastructural resources.
Management Commitments
To achieve the defined objectives, the Management of Laboratório Equigerminal undertakes to:
- Fully meet the needs and requirements of clients, fostering trust and recognition of the quality of services provided;
- Prioritize personalized service and interpersonal communication, promoting a professional, collaborative, and ethical environment inside and outside the organization;
- Ensure impartiality, independence, and confidentiality in the execution of all tests and in the management of all technical and commercial information;
- Perform tests according to validated methods and documented procedures, ensuring compliance with client requirements and good laboratory practices;
- Continuously update and improve methods, equipment, and processes, ensuring their compliance with the current state of the art in technical and scientific terms;
- Promote the consistent application of good professional practices, focusing on the validity, reproducibility, and traceability of results provided;
- Support the qualification and continuous development of staff skills, ensuring that all employees are familiar with the SGQ_IDI documents relevant to their roles;
- Regularly monitor the organizational context, identifying opportunities and risks, and promoting the internalization and active transfer of knowledge;
- Encourage creativity, motivation, and the qualification of human resources, fostering a culture of rigor and an environment conducive to scientific and technological innovation;
- Organize and structure the laboratory’s operations systematically, ensuring compliance with the requirements of the NP EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018, NP EN ISO 9001:2015, and NP 4457:2021 standards;
- Promote the continuous improvement of the SGQ_IDI’s effectiveness, not only by correcting failures but also through proactive identification of improvement opportunities;
- Foster the research, development, and innovation of new products, services, and laboratory solutions, aligned with the challenges of animal health and well-being;
- Ensure the effective management of complaints, promoting a transparent, documented, and resolution-oriented approach to ensure client satisfaction.

The Executive Director of Equigerminal Laboratory endorses the Quality Manual & RDI and fully supports the QCMS, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and customer requirements as per NP EN ISO/IEC 17025, NP EN ISO 9001, and IDI NP 4457.
